Memorial Day and the Marion Carter House

On Memorial Day we went downtown to watch the very short parade and toured the Marion Carter House. This is the house on the corner of Bank and Colburn Park. It belonged to the Carter Family which produced clothing in the building that is now the Ava Gallery. Of course I was with the kids so I was only able to grab some “close” shots.

World’s Largest Meet for Balloons-Post Mills, VT

Brian Borland, of Post Mills Airport was host to this huge balloon event over the weekend. We went on Saturday Night. I did not count how many balloons, but there must have been at least twenty. The weather was perfect. It was a little windy, but it calmed right down after 7:00 pm. All shots were taken with a wide angle lens or 50-300mm telephoto. Enjoy.
