Snowy Afternoon at the AVA Gallery

The AVA Gallery is a great place to visit and take the kids, especially on a stormy afternoon. They are exhibiting the 2015 Best of the Upper Valley High School Exhibition-definitely worth a look. The shots below were all taken with a 35mm prime lens. A great fast lens for indoor shots with a wide aperture.

The shot below is paint spilled in the clean-up sink.

Textures and Shapes at the Montshire Museum

There is always something new at the Montshire. All pictures, except bubble shots, were taken with my 40mm Macro lens.

Pieces of a Tank-The Wright Museum

Looking for a close-up view of a Sherman or Pershing Tank? The Wright Museum located in Wolfeboro NH is the place. The very well laid out museum is super informative on the history of World War II. It is definitely worth a visit.
