Using a program called Photopills it looked like Signal Hill would be a great location to take pictures of the moon. Unfortunately, there were some scattered clouds, which destroyed all the recommended settings, so I punted and got some cool effects. As I was finishing my last shots I heard some strange sounds behind me like an old man coughing. Being afraid of the dark, I slowly walked towards the sound and it was my buddy the porcupine. I guess I was in his way. After packing up and heading back down the field, I came across him and a few of his relatives and a little further on a set of beady eyes that I think was a fox by the way it bounced its way back into the woods.

Breakfast with the Porcupine on Signal Hill
What a beautiful morning for a hike up Signal Hill in Lebanon. It is a very steep climb up the open fields with views south. At the top there is a wide trail to an upper field with apple trees. At the upper field, my paths crossed with a young porcupine eating breakfast. A short walk into the trail I got a glimpse of a young bear and on the way back I also stirred up a few deer. Overall, a wildlife full morning.

Crayfish Hunting and River Textures
Waiting for that crayfish to come out from under that rock.
Interesting hair like strands on some of the river rocks.
Mink poop after a day of eating crayfish.
Some bridge texture.
