The Eye Project

This week’s Quechee Area Camera Club assignment was “eyes”. This was a great Sunday project (since it was freezing outside) using my family as models. I made my own portrait lights out of some clamp lights, 90 watt floods and two white umbrellas. I also tried putting a string of LED lights in a cake pan and created a homemade ring light. They all worked so-so.

Triangle Rock-Boston Lot Lake

I picked out this triangle shape rock and made it my focal point. These HDR shots were taken just after dusk.

Nighttime Silhouettes

Well DST has put a real damper on daytime shots after work. Here are a few nighttime silhouette images. The first is at Boston Lot Lake during the new moon on Sunday. The last three shots were taken on the Connecticut river just north of the Lyme bridge.
